How can I prepare for my course?
📖 We recommend familiarising yourself with the RYA Powerboat Handbook: How to Start Powerboating, which covers the essential theory, safety principles, and practical basics you’ll use on the water.
No prior experience is required, everything will be covered and reinforced during your practical training on the water.
Will you cancel for wind or weather?
⚠️ We may need to reschedule or cancel courses in case of strong winds or unsafe weather conditions.
🌬️ If weather conditions are considered unsafe for small craft navigation (generally around 20+ knots of wind), we reserve the right to postpone the course to another date.
⛈️ In the event of lightning or severe weather, we will not go out on the water.
Your safety is always our highest priority, and we will do our best to inform you and reschedule as early as possible.
